Company History

Staffords was founded in 1918 by William (Bill) Stafford, and his son Ken took over in the early 60's before the third generation of Stafford's, Peter took over towards the end of the 90's. As Stafford's approach their Centenary this well established, financially sound company is still a family orientated company. This is also reflected in the low turnover of staff and that a number of employees have been with the company over 20 years. In fact 3 of the current members of the Board have over 100 years service!

Stafford's have the necessary profile required to approach distributors, manufacturers and dealers to offer warranty and out of warranty support. Through a combination of nationwide on site engineering services, specialist repair centres with a technical helpline facility.

The success of Staffords service focused strategy can be measured by the fact that they currently provide after sales support for several leading OEMs (Office Equipment Manufacturers) and distributors of multifunctional products, printers, scanners, digital photocopiers, interactive boards, audio visual equipment, televisions, shredders, laminators, DECT phones, set top boxes and banking equipment. In addition Staffords also provide service on a wide range of Small Domestic Appliances such as vacuum cleaners, microwave ovens and coffee machines along with DIY tools.

Offering flexible service support packages, including courier exchange installation, training, technical help line facilities and bespoke management reports Staffords are equipped to deliver a tailored service to meet all requirements.
